Now last nights game was just a quick practice game for the team to gel better together. Most of the latest additions to the team were on the field. Hurray to Scholes for being in the right place at the right time. Nothing too exciting happened, too fast paced game, and everyone was like a chicken with their head cut off. Well, lets see what happens for the derby match. We are second on the league, trailing 3 points behind Chelsea. All the best Reds.
Last nights match versus Tottenham was absolutely spectacular. Although the red devils were off to a shaky start, with the Spurs Defoe scoring in the first minute, Giggs quickly brought the Reds back into the game. Anderson pushed them ahead and for the first time we were leading, and at just the right time, 3 minutes before the half time break. It was a back and forth match all the way to the finish, with Scholes getting a red card and Manchester down a man, the team had to pull themselves together. Rooney was watching himself throughout the match not to get caught offside, but I still think that the line ref’s need to get their eyes checked sometimes. Their were some really bad calls. In the 78th minute Rooney scored a brilliant goal, straight through the keepers legs. Now that put us square in the lead, ensured our standing in the league and broke Tottenham’s winning streak. Not bad for a hard days football. Looking forward to the next match -> European Champion Clubs Cup Group B, Manchester UnitedĀ VSĀ Besiktas
