OT100: The Top 10

We assembled a judging panel of prominent figures – a Busby Babe, a European Cup winner, a veteran Manchester journalist and United’s club statistician – to chop down our list and rank the top 10 moments in Old Trafford’s history.

The results will be revealed in February next year and believe us, they will provoke plenty of debate!”

That’s a quote from ManUtd.com. You can follow it here

Well, its 2 days after the match, but with all modesty, I have to say, if I posted earlier, it would not have had too many good things to say.

Now that I had the chance to sit back and review the match, I can say that we played well enough. Not the best performance. But well enough. The team is new and still is not geling well together. There are a few players who are not pulling their weight as it were. Its a given that the team needs more practice time on the pitch together (ie wrt the younger newcomers). Once the kinks and bugs are worked out of the system, we are going to show the world what the Red Devils can do.

On a positive not, Obertan seems to be playing better, practice makes perfect. High hopes here for him.

No One can stand in our way.

Now thats what I call a suspense filled match. Check out the scorelines. Check out the goals. Wow wow wow….

Nothing more to say. Well, I was just panic struck when we were 2 – 1 down and then Moscow actually made it 3 -1 down….. My word, now that was familiar territory, as in it has happened before and we knew how to deal with it. But it was still heart wrenching to watch. Now being a die hard Manyoo fan, I really was rooting for us to level off, and wadya know. we did it. Awesome victory. The devils played well and showed CSKA, that there is no way they were going to take victory on that round. Have to say though, CSKA played extremely well to stave off our attack for such a long time. That keeper oh yeah….he’s definitely gonna get a job in England somewhere. I mean to save those few goal attempts, seriously …. awesome.

With that, I am out…..chat more later…

It was a brilliant win at home, as the Devil’s have shown their strength. Newcomer Obertan, shows promise of developing into a world class soccer star. But all in all, the stars of this match were Berbatov and Rooney. Brilliant goals from the both of them. We cannot forget the rest of the team who played really well. The team spirit seemed high and everyone was jelling well. It seems like maybe the “devils” inside all of them have woken up and are going on a shooting spree. Lets hope so.
